Scotstounhill Bowling Club

Founded in 1905, Scotstounhill Bowling club has served the local community for over 100 years. Although not quite as busy as it was in those halcyon days of the 40s and 50s, the club has managed to maintain its popularity and continues to attract new members and visitors each year.

Scotstounhill is a club that provides members with the opportunity to compete at the highest level nationally giving excellent support to all members as they compete in Association Championships.

Throughout the season there are opportunities to participate in a variety of invitation tournaments at other clubs as well as at Scotstounhill.

The bowling season at the club starts at the beginning of April and ends in the middle of September.  During the winter months, the club participates in both the Clydebank District and Glasgow Association short carpet competitions.

The club has a fully stocked bar which, during the season, is open nightly to members and their guests from 6pm to 11pm  and from 11am to 11pm on competition days.  There is also a members lounge, where members can socialise in the event of the main hall being used for functions.
